Fringe is how many weeks away???

Where did the summer go? It seems like it just got here and now it's Fringe time already.

While Zealots & Mystics has produced our own shows for the past few Fringes, this year we're taking a different approach. We're producing Sarah LV Martin's one-person show, As If In Relief where she attempts to uncover the face of god, living, peanut butter sandwiches, and the freeing power of failure.

About Sarah:

Sarah has been acting for 13 years and story-telling (on stage) for about six months. It's the best thing she could think to do with a degree in English and Philosophy. She does lots of other stuff around town too, so if you see her at an open mic, gallery show or buying groceries you should stop and say hello. Sarah hopes you don't think the "LV" is too pretentious; she's afraid of being mistaken (again) for that other Sarah Martin. Sarah enjoys the slightly schizo undertone of writing her bio in the third person.

We're very pleased that Sarah will be at the Fringe this year and we encourage you all to come check out her show!

Next Up for Zealots and Mystics

Zealots and Mystics participation in the Chekhov Festival is done (although the festival continues until March 1st - go check out some more shows!) Both shows, On the Harmful Effects of Tobacco and Swan Song were well received.

Next up is March's Sample Night Live (Wednesday March 5th) at the Bryant Lake Bowl. We will be performing several one-minute plays. For more information about Sample Night Live - visit http://www.samplenightlive.com

In May we will be one of the five companies participating in the Fringe Festival's findraiser, "Five Fifths" which will be performed at Jeune Lune on May 5th. For more information on the Fringe and Five Fifths - visit http://www.fringefestival.org

And then we'll be spending the summer preparing for this fall's Fringe where we will be performing The Blind. More on that later.
